Most AI projects do not fail at the AI.

They fail underneath.

Data nobody cleaned. Security nobody checked. Systems that never talked to each other.

I build the foundation first.

Then the AI has something to stand on.

What I hear from owners

If this sounds familiar, you are not behind.

01
I signed up for the trial, poked around for twenty minutes, and never got back to it.
02
I do not have time to become an AI expert. I have a business to run.
03
I am not handing customer data to something that makes things up.

Every one of those is a reasonable position. The fix is not another tool. It is somebody who has already done the trial and error, asks about your problems first, and explains it in plain English.

The one idea

Four layers. In that order.

  1. DATA

Clean, findable, backed up. AI is only as good as what you feed it.

  2. SECURITY

Who can see what, checked before anything touches customer data.

  3. SYSTEMS

Your tools talking to each other. No copy paste between five tabs.

  4. AI

Now it has something to stand on. Automation that keeps working after I leave.

That is the whole method. Most consultants start at the top.

Services

Three ways to work with me.

AI consulting and automation

I find the two or three places AI will actually pay for itself in your business, build them on a foundation that holds, and hand you something that keeps working.

  • Readiness assessment, $2,500 to $5,000, two weeks, fixed scope.
  • Implementation projects, $15,000 to $50,000.
  • Advisory retainer, $2,500 to $7,500 a month.
Start with a call

Websites that make the phone ring

Two fixed prices. A one-page site for $500, or a full site with booking, texting, and invoicing wired in for $1,500. You own everything.

IT and security underneath

Identity, backups, patching, and the checks a regulated business needs. The unglamorous layer that decides whether the rest works.

How I work

Three steps. No slides.

A 30-minute call.

You talk, I ask. I will tell you on the call if AI is not the right move yet.

A written plan.

I build it, or show your team how.

Fixed scope, fixed price. You own the accounts, the data, and the code.

One accountable owner

One person. Twenty-five years. Sixteen of them here.

I am Trey Fischer. I have run technology at the VP level for companies from early startups to public enterprises: engineering, security, IT, and data. I moved a $25 million system with zero downtime and cut tech spend 20 to 40% more than once. I live in Boerne. When you call, I answer, and I am the one who does the work.

In person

Boerne is home. I drive to Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Bandera, and San Antonio. Remote for the rest of Texas.

Straight answers

The questions owners actually ask.

Is my customer data safe?

Nothing touches customer data until the security layer is checked. I set up who can see what before any AI tool is connected, and I prefer tools that keep your data yours. You get that in writing.

What if the AI gets it wrong?

It will, sometimes. So I never put it where a wrong answer costs you a customer without a person in the loop. Drafts, sorting, and lookups first. Decisions stay with you.

How much of my time will this take?

The call is 30 minutes. The assessment needs two or three hours of yours over two weeks. After that, I do the work.

Do I have to buy new software?

Usually not. Most of the value is in making what you already pay for talk to each other.

What does it cost?

The call is free. The assessment is $2,500 to $5,000, fixed. Websites are $500 or $1,500, fixed. Anything bigger gets a written quote before I start.

Do you work outside the Hill Country?

Yes, remotely, across Texas. In person I stay within about an hour of Boerne.

The next step

Book a free 30-minute call.

No pitch. You tell me what is eating your time, I tell you honestly whether I can help. If I cannot, I will point you somewhere that can.
